A whole series of courses and in-service training schemes for technicians, teachers, engineers, environmental technicians, etc. who wish to improve their qualifications in particular fields of Arctic technology are already available at the centre in Sisimiut, e.g. courses such as “Water in Greenland”, “Engineering Geology and Geotechnology”, “Building Renovation”, basic courses such as “Geographic Information System (GIS)” and “Global Positioning System (GPS)” as well as general courses in Arctic technology.
